Role Overview

As the Security Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of security services across multiple sites within our portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing security personnel. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership – Manage and supervise the daily operations of security services provided to clients across various sites. Ensure services are compliant, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Client Relationship Management – Foster and maintain excellent client relationships through regular meetings and effective communication. Exceed operational expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
• Team Performance Management – Lead and motivate security staff and teams, monitoring performance and providing necessary guidance and support.
• Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure the highest level of health and safety standards are maintained across all sites and contracts.
• Personnel Management – Take ownership of recruitment, development, training, absence management, and disciplinary procedures for security personnel.
• Strategic Planning – Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Technology and Innovation – Explore and implement innovative security technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
• Security Systems – Overall responsibility for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of an in-house Temporary CCTV and Camera Tower hire fleet.
• Key Holding & Alarm Response – Provision of key holding and alarm response services for client contracts through operational rosters and self-cover where response times or operational needs dictate.
• Budget Management – Manage and optimise budgets related to security operations, including resource allocation, equipment, training, and other relevant expenses.
• Reporting and Analysis – Generate regular reports and analysis on security performance, operational efficiency, incident trends, and client satisfaction.
• Continuous Improvement – Identify areas for improvement in security procedures, policies, and services, and implement changes to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge – Understand relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and legal requirements, ensuring all operations adhere to these standards.
• Collaboration – Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including senior management and other departments, to align security goals with overall company objectives.
• Business Development – Contribute to business development and sales efforts by identifying potential opportunities for expanding services and fostering new client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

• Operational Management Experience – Proven track record of successfully managing security services within the manned guarding sector.
• Effective Communication – Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients, teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Client Relationship Building – Skilled at building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and exceeding their expectations.
• Leadership – Demonstrated leadership qualities, able to inspire and guide teams toward achieving operational excellence.
• IT Proficiency – Strong proficiency in Microsoft products and other relevant software tools, such as workforce management platforms.
• SIA Licence – Hold a valid SIA Licence (SG/DS).
• Business Systems & Standards – Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Business Management Systems and relevant British Standards (preferred).
• Professionalism – Well-presented and professional demeanour.
• Driver’s Licence – Possess a full driving licence with no points (preferred).
