Janitor and Hygiene Operative Part Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor and Hygiene Operative for our client who is based in SA19 6TT.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

WED-THURS– JANITORIAL: 08:00 – 15:00; £12.70 p/hr

The role will involve cleaning:

• Offices and reception areas
• Canteen facilities
• Toilets
• Corridors

Duties to include:

• Emptying the bins, taking out the Rubbish.
• Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms.
• Sweeping, moping and vacuuming the floors.

SUNDAY – PRODUCTION CLEANING: 15:00-23:00; £14.00 p/hr

Keep all areas of the factory clean and tidy meeting health and safety standards

• Waste Disposal
• Sweep Floors/Wash floors
• Adhere to PPE Policies
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and policies
• Effective communication with Supervisor/Team Leaders
• Deep Cleaning all Machinery ready for production
• Cleaning belts, hand cleaning, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, lights.
• Setting machines to clean mode
• Filling machines with chemical

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Quality focusing thinking with a high degree of accuracy / attention to detail

· Your ability to work under pressure and act as a trouble-shooter

· Experience of working in a food environment, within hygiene

· Capability to work on your own initiative with the ability and confidence to make decisions

· Ability to work to targets

· Reliability and conscientious

· Self-motivation, ambition & willingness to learn.

Previous experience in a cleaning environment would be ideal for this position, but all training will be provided.
