General Operative Temporary

CSA Recruitment are looking for a General Operative to work with our long standing client based in Nantycaws.

*Candidate with own vehicle & full driving license preferred.

Pay Rate: £12.71

Hours:
Monday – Friday 07:30am – 16:00pm
Weekend Availability (optional)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Machinery: Using semi-automated or automated bagging lines, conveyors, and hoppers to fill bags of various sizes.
• Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of the compost and ensuring the correct weight and consistency of the product.
• Packaging & Sealing: Operating heat sealers or stitching machines to securely seal bags.
• Material Handling: Moving bags, stacking them onto pallets, and potentially operating a forklift or wrapping machinery to prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Maintenance: Carrying out minor repairs and preventive maintenance on bagging equipment.

Typical Requirements

• Physical Fitness: The role often requires lifting, handling heavy bags, and working in outdoor or industrial plant environments.
• Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural settings is often required.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate weights and properly sealed packaging.
