Recycling Operative (Weekend Cover) Full Time

CSA are currently sourcing a candidate for our long standing client.

* MUST have a full UK driving license *

Our client is a local company that has years of experience in the waste, materials recycling and recovery industry. They have developed purpose built facilities in the heart of Carmarthenshire operated by professional and knowledgeable staff to ensure maximum recycling.

JOB TITLE: Recycling Operative

CONTRACT TYPE:
Full time temporary contract. The role is on a temp to perm basis.

PAY RATE:
Basic Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour

SHIFTS:

Monday – Sunday

08:00 – 18:00 (Summer hours)

08:00 – 16:00 (Winter hours)

3x sites based in Llanelli / Ammanford / Nantycaws

Role Duties:

To follow the instructions from line management regarding personal health and safety and that of operatives and visitors to site
To carry out daily operations as directed by Site Manager / Recycling Foreman and in accordance with the legislative requirements e.g. site license, environment management systems and working plan
To ensure that all household waste disposed of at site is segregated and placed in the correct designated recycling containers / areas
To inform Recycling Foreman of container disposal requirements
To offer advice and assistance to members of the public
Sort waste
Remove non – recyclable items
Inspecting materials for contamination
