Plant Operator Full Time

CSA Recruitment are looking for a Plant Operator who must have:

• Telehandler ticket
• Shovel Loader ticket

Pay Rate: £13.09

Monday – Friday
7am – 4pm
(Weekend Availability for extra hours)

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant equipment to ensure smooth production processes. Responsibilities

• Operate various plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and perform basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
• Assist with the setup and calibration of equipment for different production runs.
• Record operational data accurately and report any anomalies or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, including heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality standards throughout the production process.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required by the role.
• Prior experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including potential overtime during busy periods.
