Despatch Operative (Night) Full Time

CSA are currently sourcing candidates for our long-established client based in Cross hands as Night Despatch Operative on 4 on and 4 off shift pattern basis.

Our client operates on a global basis to create better food naturally. Providing consistent quality meat products from sustainable sources.

PAY RATE:
Basic Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Overtime Rate: £14.30 per hour (Applied after 12 weeks of work)

CONTRACT TYPE:
Full time temporary contract.

SHIFTS:
Shift pattern based on 4 on and 4 off basis. Temporary Role – Full time.

Own transport required to get on site as there is no public transport available.

Main Duties:

Manual lifting, picking, scanning and loading trailers of daily orders for customer.
Loading and unloading in bound and out bound trailers
Moving pallets and product and scanning to the correct locations
Wrapping, labeling and securing pallets to ensure stability and safety during transport.
Communicating with other departments (Logistics, Planning, Sales and Transport)
Process Customers paperwork and sealing trailers.
Carry out all requests and tasks in a helpful and professional manner.
To undertake any reasonable additional requests made by Supervisors or Managers to ensure that the overall contract service standard is maintained.
Ensuring Good Housekeeping in the Despatch department.
Crate washing, ensuring that crates are washed to the required standard using the designated machine.
