Warehouse Operative Temporary

Our long standing client based in West Wales are now hiring. With plants based in West Wales, they can offer many different opportunities and the potential to excel in different aspects in the manufacturing world to help you enjoy a potential long career with them.

PAY RATE: £12.00 and £13.25 after 12 weeks

SHIFT: Day, Night

Shifts – rotating weekly

Day: Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm

Night: Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am

Training might be done during different working hours (6am to 4pm, 10am to 6pm).

*MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT TO BE CONSIDERED*

THE ROLE
There are many vacancies available with various shift patterns. You may choose from roles which include:

• Preparation of raw materials
• Production of pet foods
• Labelling and packing
• Hygiene operatives
• Receiving Cans onto Cage Loader and Can Cage unloader to Warehouse.
• Inputting recipes into touch screen computer.
• Ensuring smooth and continuous running of Can Handling System.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing situations.
• Completing all required paperwork.

Key duties include

• Ensure material levels are maintained and stored correctly in plate freezer room
• Plating frozen goods for the cold store/meat preparation
• Grind down meat in machinery
• Removing product from boxes
• Checking all products for foreign bodies
• Liase with the technical team if there’s any issues.
